    Hi all,

If this has already been covered elsewhere, my apologies and please steer me to the appropriate topic(s).

By way of background, my Firefox and Sun JRE are (I believe) both up to date, with Javascript enabled on the former.

My pharmacy offers an online service for ordering refills which is handy, and which uses a javascript popup window on a secure connection. If I use Firefox for that (but not if I use IE6), I also get a separate window opening for the Javascript console which is totally unncessary for me and which I immediately close without apparent ill effects.

Is there a setting somewhere to keep that from opening in the first place? I've double-checked my JRE Control Panel, and that's set to "hide console", so I assume something in Firefox is over-riding that. It doesn't happen anywhere else on the web, just that one site.

Thanks for any suggestions, and best,
    Mike
