    Hi,

With all due respect, I believe a closer examination will provide plenty of information to debunk such a notion.

For anyone else reading this, the comment above was in reference to the TrialPay offer that is available as another way to get SpywareBlaster AutoUpdate.

WinZip, ZoneAlarm, Fandango, The New York Times, Skype, and hundreds of other companies offer TrialPay as another method to get products or services. The idea is simple - buy or try something, and get another product free (the advertiser pays for your license/subscription/etc). It's simply another choice, just like paying with a credit card or PayPal.

Due to the costs we incur, providing SpywareBlaster AutoUpdate for free isn't practical or possible - but we wanted to provide another way for people to get it *and* help support us. Completing an offer through TrialPay is often a win-win in that regard. One handy example: During certain holidays they often have flowers available from one or more of the commonly-used flower companies.

It's simply an additional choice - there are plenty of people who like it and use it, and we've had no complaints for months. If you enter your info, you'll receive a one-time reminder e-mail - if you look through the available offers but don't see anything you'd like to try, then there's nothing more to it. That's it. :)

An FAQ is available here if you'd like more information: http://www.trialpay.com/shoppers/?p=faq

    Best regards,
