    See, if they had SSDs then it never would have been an issue.

    Good point, didn't even think about that, although I do remember that some mp4 file always made Win Explorer crash on my Win 8.1 system. Never understood why, and this was on a SSD if I recall correctly.

    Probably a driver or codec issue.

    It was very weird, because it was just a simple mp4 file, and other files never crashed. I even thought it was perhaps some exploit, but I didn't see any malware on the system. I think it crashed both Win XP and Win 8.1 though. I guess I will need to try it on Win 10, but I think I deleted the file out of frustration.
