Hey guys, its been a long time since I posted on this forum, so here we go :argh:

ESET ESS5 has been running great for the last time. Today however, I was shocked that while browsing, I got a message which said: " virus signature update file has not been digitally signed! do you wish to apply this update anyway?"

I picked yes, and it updated just fine. The thing is, Ive read on this forum that this kind of minor issue could come from the update getting unexpectedly interrupted during the download. At the moment, I have unstable internet. Could this be the reason?

    Thanks!

I saw this message in relation to certain proxy servers in the past that used to tamper with update files and thus corrupted them. I'd suggest contacting customer care as the following stuff will be needed to tackle the issue:
1, pcap log from the point of update created by Wireshark
2, the content of the updfiles folder
