It Said DDE Server Not Responding After Installing Windows Updates..please help

    I went to update.microsoft.com and installed updates that way on my win xp computer and right after installing updates, I clicked to shut down my computer just to be on the safe side. But it said DDE Server wasn't responding even though I exited out the IE browser, so I hit end now button. Am I ok?? I don't know why it said that.

    Unless it starts repeating, I wouldn't be concerned much. Check event viewer logs for errors or warnings. It might offer a clue what prompted that message
