  1. ist good to select (block new and changed application)?

    im new with this software :)
    just id like to stop trojans and virus and other bad things

    If you select "Block new and changed apps", then they are blocked without notifying you.

    If you leave it unchecked, then you will get a popup dialog telling you that the new or changed app is trying to run, and you can allow or deny it.

    Yes, this was a source of temporary confusion for me. It should probably be retitled to "Silently block new and changed applications ", since all new and changed applications are blocked until there is a positive response from the user.
