Anyone knows if it is possible to keep your bookmarks saved on Firefox once you clear the sandbox after browsing please ?

Cause when I browse and bookmark pages while on sandbox and then close browser and clear sandbox, all the bookmarks I saved during that session vanish o_O

It's the only thing I " hate " from this program, would be more than glad if someone can help with this.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks... > Import and backup > Export HTML? Save that file to a USB stick and then use the same options to import it when you leave the sandbox...

Under Applications ---> Web Browser ---> Firefox in Sandbox Settings, you will find an option to allow direct access to Firefox bookmarks.

I got my bookmarks saved and used to do it too but it's a bit of a hassel..

Isn't there an easier way like an option where bookmarks won't be affected please ?

Hi pegr I've tried to option you said but issue is still there

Tried unchecking the bokmark option you mentioned, bookmarked a page while in sandbox, closed firefox, cleared contents from sandboxie, opened firefox and bookmark I saved as a test is not there :(

Which options should be check and which not please maybe I got my settings wrong ?

If you are in the right place within the settings, you should see several browser options. Make sure that the following options are enabled: -

[+] Allow direct access to Firefox bookmark and history database
[+] Allow direct access to Firefox phishing database

You can enable the other options if you want to but there's no need if all you want to do is to keep bookmarks.

Bear in mind that every exclusion you make weakens the sandbox security slightly. You are trading convenience for security which only you can judge.

Glad you got it sorted. :)

    Regards
