I have TI v8PE, and have just got TI v10.

I want to do a total reinstall and backup of my system again.

I have been reading some negative comments on TI v10, what is the score? I want to backup things seperate (thats why I bougt this version) ie emails, music, pictures etc and then the system as one.

Anyone got any coments/experiences on TI v10 please? that can help

    thanks
    Andy

You will have to try it with your system anyway.

As I general rule, if you can do a backup, and then verify the image from both Windows and the boot disk without errors, and you can see all the necessary hardware from both Windows and the boot disk, then you will probably be OK.

Note you should consider a full restore as the closest test you can get to proving your recovery system, although this test is is not quite fool proof as it assumes that your backup does not become corrupted if you need to restore it again in the future. It is however a good test of everything else in your recovery system apart from the data.
