is UpdateReminder.exe a malware ?

in a old laptop , i have installed nod32 2.7

and in this days i found a file UpdateReminder.exe

size 413.696

is a spy/malware software?

I have deleted mine and everything works normally.

Anyway I uploaded it to
http://www.virustotal.com/
and it seemed not dangerous

It is a file that "appeared" in my installation directory at the beginning of this week (as already said in this other thread https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=286061 )

but eset doesn't give at least a short response
i don't 2.7 is nore more supported
but at least a short response could be sweet

It is a reminder for those with trial version installed that they should update to v4 as updates for the trial version v2 will end with the end of the year 2010.

Is there a specific thread about the end of the life cycle of version 2.7?
