if a hacker managed to infiltrate a system with a truecrypt container and mounted it remotely would it show up in explorer as mounted in both systems, or only on the hacker's machine? How do I prevent a remote attack such as this in windows xp? Is there a setting in truecrypt that turns this function off?

I have noticed that my system crashes if I sometimes turn off my usb hdd and I have narrowed it down to episodes involving mounted truecrypt containers. However sometimes it crashes when no .tc containers are mounted! I have researched every single app on my system I can think of and this never happens unless I turn usb hdd off when I have recently had a .tc container mounted. It happens on both my usb hdds with tc containers therein. o_O
