Hello, I am helping a friend clean his badly infested computer of various spyware, adware, and trojans. I have ran spybot several times and manually removed what I found that spybot did not. I suspect there may be a few things that I may have missed. Could anyone review my Hijackthis report and point out any potential problems?

    Thanks,
    Traeki.

If you haven't already done so : make sure all his hidden files/folders are set to show. Then restart PC in Safe Mode and remove (if still present) :

    C:\Documents and Settings\dewey\Application Data\urpo.exe <- this file
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\wcpsu.exe <- this file
    C:\PROGRAM FILES\CLOCKSYNC\ <- this folder

    Clean temp internet files

    Restart again in normal mode

    Finally download and run :

    CWShredder

Open -> 'fix' -> click 'next'

    Hope this helps

    Cheers,

Thanks for the help! I think I got everything you mentioned. These entries did not change even though I checked them and hit fix several times :
