    Hi,

We have a 'stand alone PC' which needs to be re-formatted and put back into useful service. It's a P4 with 512RAM and 120HDD.

It's 'sister PC' is set up as a stand alone PC and we want to set up this one exactly the same. Soooooooooo........

Instead of installing XP pro/Microsoft Office etc etc.......can I use my Acronis True Image "current full image" from the other PC and install that to make things quick and easy??

Should work fine for you. You can test it out with the trial for a non system partition and if so the full version should work as well.

    Hope this helps,

    Chris

    Hello tisatashar,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

If the hardware on both computers are absolutely identical your approach should work. However, you may want to try another scenario. You may plug the disk from the target computer to the source one and clone the source one to the target. After that plug in the target drive to the target computer and you should be able to boot it.

    Thank you.
