Is there network support?

I want to backup a hd from a computer on my home lan to another computer that I have a second hd installed just for that purpose.
Is that possible?

Yes,
A slightly kinder form of advice:
Create shared directory on machine with second disk.
Note down the network settings fro the other PC
ie IP address, Subnet mask, gateway.

When you boot from Acronis CD, if you have no DHCP server device
you will need to modify the IP address to be in the same class address
ie xxx.yyy.zzz where the zzz is a slightly different number to the machine doing the sharing.
The subnet mask and gateway have to be identical to the machine doing the sharing.
