SOLVED Is there a difference between an infiltration and an infected file?

The last scan I did there were 8 infiltrations.
I'm doing another scan and in the last scan result it says there were no infected files.
Is there a difference between an infiltration and infected file because this messages suggests there is?
    What is the difference?

    Hello punga44.

What detected threats does your scan log show?

Aha! All is revealed. Several files in the recycle bin. I've deleted them. The previous scan is there with the details. I've just realised the last scan I was talking about must have been a scan on a single file I did after the computer scan.
    Thanks for your help.
