Is SpywareGuard maintained?

    I've just installed SpywareGaurd 2.2 and performed a Live Update, but the definitions file is very old - 22 Jan 2004. Is this software being maintained? Why should I waste vital CPU time on a running process that does not know about the very latest attacks?

    i'm downloading the software right now, i didnt know abt this. Is it true, let me check it out. o_O

    It is still a viable piece of security software. it works along the lines of hueristics and needs to be updated very seldom. Rest assured if it needs an update it will get one.

    Today is 12/12 and still there are no updates for SG for 23 months :rolleyes:
    Did Javacool discontinue supporting/updating this software or what? :rolleyes:
