Google may not admit it, but I sure get the feeling that they have abandoned Picasa. It's been 'stuck' on v3.9 for what seems an eternity, still has bugs and still hasn't been migrated to a 64-bit program. Anyone know anything (for sure) about the status of Picasa?
I'm guessing that is hasn't been abandoned, since it's only 4 months since it was last updated, and looking at the changelogs at Softpedia, it seems that at times there are over 6 months between updates.
I cannot recall where I got it but I somewhere read that with the launch of their completely new Google Photos they work on some inclusions of Picasa features. So we could see some transition of Picasa into cloud.
