Is NOD really the best? How about antispyware and firewall?

    I keep seeing kaspersky everywhere on av reviews as well as panda?

    What is really the best, or maybe the top 2?
    How abou antispyware and a firewall?

    What is the best way to secure the computer on the net and protect privacy and from crap?

    I didn't see a link since 2006 for the BLackspear recommended nod32 settings, what is the new recommendation?

If you wish to put some technical meat around the topic and have a technically oriented discussion, give it a go. However, generic questions such as the one you pose invariably devolve into mindless volley of unsupported contention that goes in circles.
