Is my data accessible if license expires of a proprietary Whole Disk Encryption tool?

    I want a proprietary Whole Disk Encryption software, preferably PGP or Check Point. My company uses Check Point Whole Disk Encryption and I want to use any of the two mentioned above.

    If I buy a one year license, I wonder how these tools respond when license expires. Will my hard drive remain encrypted until I buy a new license or remains unencrypted?
