    that SpywareBlaster is preventing me from downloading Macromedia's Flash Player? Or maybe SpyBot?

    The Flash player used by websites is based upon an ActiveX control that can be managed from within SpywareBlaster.

    Within SpywareBlaster, look at the setting of the check box in the image above. If you want flash to be enabled, clear that checkmark and then close and restart your browser and try to load the flash item again.
