    Hey monica_465, welcome to Wilders!

You have to have a license key for each computer you install it on. When you install XP, it verifies the key with MS to ensure authenticity. If you tried on another machine, it wouldn't work :)

    Hope that helps

You can install it on loads of computers, but as has already been said, you need to own a license for each and every installation you set up from your CD, otherwise you're breaking the law. It will work on more PCs if you don't have the licenses, but if you get caught, it will be very expensive.

Because of these reasons :) :-

    1)Nobody reports them
2)The activation program is sometimes cracked so that no info is sent to Microsoft, and they do not find out.

By the way, do you live in Mumbai? :)
