    Hello All,

So! Version 5 is out! Nice & very cool...

However, I still have in one room an old PC with Windows 98SE on it, would you believe it.

Unfortunately for him, that brave old OS has been left out from SB 5.0... and he feels a bit lonely right now :'(

Is there any way to still feed him with the up-and-coming database updates?
    He'd be soooo happy...

    Thanks for him;)

    Yes, You can, partially:

Copy the following files from an updated SpywareBlaster 5.0 & into it's Program Files\Spywareblaster-folder:

    • sbdatabaseinf.dtb
    • sbdatabase.dtb
    • rsdatabase.dtb
    • ckdatabase.dtb

Tested on a virtual Windows 98SE with SpywareBlaster 4.6, guess it will work to on Windows 95.
    Note that SpywareBlaster 4.6 didn't support Google Chrome, therefore I assume there's no use to copy chromescdb.dtb & chromeckdb.dtb. & ckdatabase.dtb.

    Hello there Ilja,

Thank you very much for your reply.

It looks like it did the trick indeed!

SB 4.6 displays the 28/02 database as loaded :D

My Win98 PC feels young again...

    Many thanks once more!
