Is Hotspot Shield Safe to Use over Tor?

    Whenever hotspot shield is activated it appears as an icon on Tor Browser, indicates that it is an extension. Are those safe to use over Tor? Or does it deanonymous me?

    Are you serious? Hotspot hijacks the TBB? Sheese! That's not good.

    You are correct. Besides TBB says add-ons are unsafe and Hotspot is an add on and therefore unsafe.

    At some point I was going crazy about being anonymous over the web, and yes, using both HSS and Tor at the same time isn't a good idea

    I don't know much about Hotspot Shield, but the more I learn, the less I want to know ;)

    Me too! If they hijack your browser. And hijack the TBB? I am a little shocked at this.
