Is free registration mandatory?

    Is it mandatory for the software to be fully working or not?
    I reinstalled Returnil but I can't register this time (didn't get any confirmation e-mail).

    If it's not mandatory, is there any way to undo the registration request in the program (i.e. so that it'll say unregistered free version instead of request pending)?

    No, registration is not necessary. If your registration is pending, you will need to let the process play out as it will not effect the features you have access to as a freeware user.
