    Hi:

I want to sue eagleget video downloader and seems malwarebyte flags it as a PUP bundleware but it is legit and signed VT shows only 3 detection and one is MBAM.

Anyway anyone know if this is safe? It is the only free video downloader that I found that is able to download video from certain of my favorite video sites that other downloaders can not download.

    Thank in advance.

eagleget website (so many recommendations): http://r.duckduckgo.com/l/?kh=-1&uddg=http://www.eagleget.com/

I understood what you were saying, and that's why I stated your call. I provided site scans for visitors who could be afraid to visit that site.

Have you Contacted the developers? If you do, here's another piece of evidence: Jotti's malware shows 2 out of 18 scanners reporting malware: https://virusscan.jotti.org/en-US/filescanjob/t9kg4sr13h

I just installed EagleGet to test it myself, and it is clean. The actual EagleGet exectuable installed in the Program Files is reported as safe by VT. The installer for EagleGet only gets flagged because Advanced PC Care is bundled with it, and it will be installed as well, unless you uncheck "I agree to install Advanced PC Care."

Advanced PC Care is a well known PUP, but like the majority of PUPs is not malicious. I'm sure that the bundled software will change from time to time.

I think you would have a hard time winning your case.
