Is All the update servers down?

    I downloaded -19 over 16 this morning and it cannot connect to an update server. It is set to choose automaticly and does try.

    Maybe my subsription has run out? How can I tell? It is supposed to be good till 6-25-05

    NOD32 would have alerted you if your subscription had expired.....

    I had to uninstall and redownload to get the update to work.

    When I first downloaded NOD it updated to the latest. Now when I check the event log it is showing that it cannot connect to the server. Maybe ESET lost my user name and password.

    An error connecting to server has nothing to do with usernames/passwords. Make sure the update server is set to "Choose automatically" and an Internet connection is established before you carry out a manual update. If you use a proxy server, make sure it's configured properly in the advanced update setup. If you use a firewall, be sure nod32krn.exe has access to the internet allowed.

    I think my problem my have been with Outpost. Nod32krn.exe was in the trusted list but was being blocked for some reason. Ok now.
