Is a reconfirmative scan engine necessary, like in MKS_vir?

Mks scans the same file two times in the same on-acess scan... it uses a lot of CPU, and I´m asking if it´s really necessary or it´s just marketing...

Well if you access file two times, thats pretty much normal. Especially if that file changed, but not necessarely.

I think you didn´t understand me..

    For exemple:

When I click in a .exe file, any antivirus will scan this file using it´s on-acess scan...

If I do this with MKS, it´ll scan the same file two times, the first time to search for a virus, the second time is a second search to confirm that there is no virus in the file...
    Is it necessary?

Are you sure? How can you see that? Maybe you should ask ArcaBit guys about this.
