    The first link didn't work. But from what I understood, this looks a lot like a hidden backdoor in chips that iPhones are using. So this also means it was an inside job, because otherwise how would hackers know about this backdoor. But this also shows it's easier to protect PC's than to protect smartphones, which barely have any good exploit protection, well except for Lockdown Mode in iPhones, but not many people are going to use it since it also breaks some stuff and makes things less convenient.
