    Hi,
yesterday i updated my iphone 12 to ios 16 and put it in lockdown mode. While watching youtube and listening to an online radio i got the feeling that someone is bruteforcing my iphone complex passcode. There was a strange sound like disrrupting the music or how can i explain this sound. Next time i will record this event. The first thought that there was a brute forcing attempt of hacking of my device. I was using firefox focus as a browser. And after clearing the history and stopping the browser this sound went away and did not happend again after launching the browser again. Is this the way that the hackers try to brute force the device 16 alpha numeric passcode?

I thought that lockdown mode would offer more security for iphone user.

    Thanks for your advice!

Doesn’t trying (one or more) passcode(s) require physical access to your iPhone?

Could the sound be something like this? The video mentions it is for old speakers but I still notice it sometimes with modern equipment in different situations:

    Hi,
while being behind of the protection of RATtrap firewall it still happens there. I just switched the connection to 5g and bluetooth was on and i was listening an online radio on the bluetooth speaker. Here is that crappy alien sound like it was coming from NSA attack or other with sophisticated skills.

Why do you think a hack makes sound?
