Anyone else experimented with using linux firewalls to protect their windows machines? I currently have IPFire installed in virtualbox with control over my only network card. Windows host machine has no network connectivity unless IPFire is running and all outgoing/incoming connections travel via it. It also acts as a DHCP server and has some crude homemade outbound application control. It's probably not hugely beneficial for the vast majority of people here but I find it interesting to play with =).
