Iolo Search & Recover 4 (License Disabled)

Hi,

I purchased a secondhand near new toshiba laptop and have just finished installing all of the programs that I require.

I went to install Iolo Search & Recover 4 (free trial) and the program stipulates that the "License Is Disabled". I sent an email 8 days ago to customer care at Iolo with no reply of any help.

Due to Iolo not responding as yet!! I have cleaned the registry and deleted the program folder but still cannot get the program to work as recommended in Iolo's customer care section.

Could someone suggest a way of fixing this problem, or recommend another similiar program. Ultimately, I would still like to purchase this program but I'm reluctant to purchase the program if this problem cannot be rectified and my direct concern of Iolo not responding at all.

Have a look at :
- File Scavenger from Quetek : http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm, a bit expensive but very powerful
- A beta free program : http://www.recuva.com/download, seems quite good and fast.
