Look at that comparison: http://www.iobit.com/en/malware-fighter-pro.php The free version is just a joke. Every one of the big names will be preferred over IObit free. Moreover, we all remember how you stole Malwarebytes' signatures. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/29681-iobit-steals-malwarebytes-intellectual-property/ So firstly, I want to see an advanced free version. As an apology. Your company is associated with bad things in my mind, I believe I'm not alone.
The free version is not an antivirus, so it's not fair to compare it with antiviruses. But, it can not compare with alternatives such as Malwarebytes or Zemana. I don't see the point, as the paid Pro version is not very good. So even a better free version would not be worth using, in my opinion.
I thought it would of done better, but I shouldn't be surprised considering IObit's history with anti-malware products. I'm not affiliated with IObit.
I found a way to get the Pro version at a discounted price. You need to have IObit Driver Booster Pro (there are giveaways for it all the time). You just have to complete a scan with Driver Booster and then click on "action center." You get VIP discounts for IObit products.
Are you sure you want that? They couldn't pay me to install it, but that's just my opinion of course.
It is not a very good product, based on my experience using it, but there are much worse antiviruses.
How many reviews do you need? It's quite a well known fact IObit are a distrustful company after their stealing from Malwarebytes debacle
IObit Malware Fighter 6 is in development: http://forums.iobit.com/forum/iobit...nd-your-feedback-for-iobit-malware-fighter-v6
Hopefully, they can finally make it a decent product. But I doubt it, based on past versions. However, I like some of their other products a lot.
Given IOBit is based in China and knowing how nice the codebases are from China and India, I would suggest Wilders' users to skip this product at the moment. I am not against any country but one would have to perform severe mental gymnastics to buy products for security that are developed in nations not known for being responsive in fixing exploits, bugs and code obfuscations.
IObit Malware Fighter 6 beta, has just been released. https://www.iobit.com/en/beta/imf6/download.php http://forums.iobit.com/forum/gener...ta-1-0-6-0-0-4440-is-released-january-30-2018
Maybe one day, IMF will be worth using. But I doubt it, which is a shame, as I use some of their other products are decent.
