Panagiotis, I assumed he was asking about Reflect rather than Flashback.

My gosh. Version 2 beta was released 1 1/2 years ago and is still a somewhat unstable beta. I am losing my patience. I was hoping this would become a good alternative to RRX but it seems almost as unstable.
Once in a great while a dev pops in and offer encouragement by telling us an update that addresses a chronic problem is imminent. But we just continue with this mess.

I have never seen people wait so long for a loser app to flesh out. Isso started a great app which everybody was excited about, but it was for naught.

With all respect, this is not motivating the developers...

Are you kidding? Motivating developers? Their motivation is to develop good software and sell it to make a profit. Saying nice things doesn't affect that process at all.

Saying negative things is worse than positive. Just state your issue, and hopefully they might fix the problem.
Version 1 works great since day one for many.

I agree. I think they are lost, possibly they are from India, and are more relaxed about getting things done. That is how our offshore team is... It drives the American counterparts crazy.

    Nice to meet you,

I will sometimes contact the developer.
Bugs that I found has been fixed ALL !
    And, Maybe it will continue.

FLASHBACK in my environment is running without any problems.

    Stability is top priority,
    But development resources are limited...
    I think.

    Hi rodneym

What you are writing is exposing a lack of awareness of the situation. They are not from India. Also writing give it back to ISSO is a pure waste of time. Not happening.

Since Macrium 6 has arrived on the scene there is not much reason for FlashBack to exist much longer. The main difference between these two programs is that the Macrium developers are pros, the others are amateurs. The only reason why anyone right now would prefer FlashBack over Macrium is ease of use.

If the Macrium guys get the idea that there is a market for very simple backup software they might come up with an alternative GUI for Reflect which is geared at users who do not want to be bothered with advanced options (Paragon did it this way). If this should happen then FlasBack will disappear from the planet in no time...

    Cheers

...and the $30 USD difference in cost as well (when it's finally very solid for all).

What has this world come to? With that logic I should only post complements and encouragement even if the software doesn't deserve it?

A difference for me is after buying MR6 (at substantial price above FB as mentioned above) is about half the time still takes a long time for incrementals and restores. (Support has tried but can't find a reason and gave up.) It always restores and is solid in that respect so I'm happy with that, but seriously miss the consistent speed of AXTM ver 2 which was solid for me when using Win 7. I just hope FB will be as good and the kinks can be worked out so I can have something consistently fast like before. So far it's not usable for me.

Dagrev, are you referring to Reflect or FlashBack with the above statement?

I am referring to both. In relation to a previous post by manolito about why one would chose FlashBack.... One difference for me is that Reflect is painfully slow at times and I'm counting on FlashBack to get the program working for Win 10 as it was in Ver 2 on a Win 7 system. I want the reliable speed TM once had since Reflect doesn't always provide this for some reason whereas TM did.

I'd bet your real problem is Win 10.

Very likely a factor anyway. With MR6 it would seem if that were the case many with Win 10 would be experiencing the same thing since it's Win 10 compatable. On the other hand, Flashback's snaps and restores are always fast with Win 10, just that occasionally it thinks there are no images and wants me to identify which drive I want to protect/copy as if I just installed. That was the main problem that made it unusable.

Did you see that word "Probably"... Anyway glad you came to their defense... It's just a comparison to what I have experienced.

Since you asked, will posting negative comments get you what you really want? Constructive criticism is your best bet.

I have been guilty of this, but learning to keep my temper. Good luck.

What? You make no sense at all. Constructive criticism is not a positive comment.
Heck, lets just all hold hands and share nice thoughts and all bad will turn good.
