Internet very slow with SS 5.0.94.0

    Since I updated my SS4 to version 5, I have noticed that Internet browsing has slowed down markedly, particularly with sites such as YouTube, where I might wait 15-30 seconds for the site to open.

    I am using Win 7 Pro 32bit, IE9 and Firefox (Pale Moon version) 7.0.1. Browsing speeds up considerably if I put SS in Gamer Mode. SS is set at default otherwise, aside from enabling HIPS. I am pretty sure that SS is the issue here.

    That's weird cause it is basically running scans that are paused in Gamer mode. Do you use default settings? Does disabling web access protection make a difference?
