First of all, Fanboy TPLs do have Facebook entries to block third-party connection to Facebook, but a connection seems to still happen to facebook. It turns out there's only one entry that block access to an entire facebook domain (pixel. facebook. com), all other entries only block certain content.

This is the connection I've seen happening while, for instance, entering -http://www.softpedia.com.

    star-01-01-fra2-dot-facebook-dot-com (I replaced . with -dot-.)

Just in case you thought Facebook was being fully blocked, well... you were wrong. Unless there's a bug in IE? But, I don't think that would be the case. Otherwise, other connections would happen as well.

I'm actually blocking connections to Facebook by using IP ranges. Also one of the reasons why I've seen an alert for this. I don't use IE that often, so only now I noticed it.

    -edit-

The same seems to happen with Twitter connection present on Softpedia. There's no entry blocking access to -http://platform.twitter.com. And, according to IE's own Webpage privacy policy it does try to set a cookie, which is blocked with my configuration.

P.S: I'm not discussing whether or not those connections would be needed for some other purpose. Just to make others alert, in case they want to fully block them. :)

Uhm only the tracking aspects of Facebook are blocked, seems perfectly normal to me.

Are you maybe looking for the Fanboy social-blocking list? That's the one that blocks all the "like" nonsense and such on various sites. I use it myself.

Maybe so, but others may not know the connection is happening. I simply do not want any connections to Facebook/other social network. :)

I know there's a list for ABP, but I don't see such a list for Internet Explorer Tracking Protection.

There are only two main lists:

Fanboy Adblock List for Internet Explorer 9/10
    Fanboy Tracking List

Then, there are four country specific lists. I don't see the antisocial list in TPL version.

Is there another place where we can get it?

    Thanks

Yeah it's technically in "beta" at the moment. A frequent user on the Fanboy forums has a page where you can add it:

    http://jansal.net/TPL.shtml

Selecting the "fanboy ultimate" list means you can remove all the others. Or if you don't want to risk breaking some sites you can just add the "annoyances" directly to your current list of TPLs.

The ultimate list is working great.

Wasn't aware that there was such a "beta" version. :ouch:
