    Microsoft will release a beta of Internet Explorer 7 this Summer.

    Ending speculation about whether it was shifting to a paid model, Microsoft said on Tuesday that it will provide customers with its new anti-spyware software for free.

    IE7? Wow, only took...what 5 years for an update instead of a cumulative patch?

    I guess they realized that everyone is using FireFox/Mozilla/etc and not having to pay for all the extra security features so they decided to jump on the wagon.

    It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for someone to create a virus to target IE7.

    I hope it wont be a BSOD app or be riddled with exploits as our current IE6 is...
