With Internet Explorer 9, if one wanted to permanently run IE in private mode, we could create/modify the registry entry FilteringMode[/i] (Windows 7) in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Safety\PrivacIE and give it a value of 1.

But, this doesn't seem to work with Internet Explorer 10. I know how to start IE10 InPrivate Browsing by using the flag -private, for example, but if another application were to start Internet Explorer, then it will open in normal mode.

Is anyone aware of a way to permanently run IE10 in InPrivate Browsing? o_O

    I found a way... :D

    TIP: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.exe

    Exercise your mind! :D

    -edit-

Didn't quite work as expected, though. It does run in InPrivate Browsing... but, with more privileges than those I was expecting. I need to check something... lol
