Hi - I'm using v8 build 791 and got the same error message after 100% said it had copied, eg

“Internal Error: Number of copied sectors differ from counted”

This is backing up a 150 gig HD with 2 partititions, one active with 112 gigs in it, to a 120 gig HD, backing up just the active 120 gig partition.

I also tried with the 150 gig to a 200 gig and get the same error messages.

What can I do to get it to work? It used to work fine. I've bought/upgraded to version 9, but saw a lot of posts that it had problems, so I'm trying to use my v8 and get these errors.

And I did try chkdsk drive /X /r and no difference.

    thanks,

    ken

solved it, looks like copy "as is" works, do not use "proportional" (the default) when cloning drive.

also bought their disk director, great tool, recovered a deleted partition with no problem, very good.
