Today we released RegRun 4.1 Gold:
    Download home:
    http://www.greatis.com/security/download.htm

You can install new version over old.
Fixed a lot of seriuous bugs.
I suggested to update RegRun 4 and 4.1 beta.

New version is free for registered users.

    Also, we released UnHackMe 1.0
    http://www.unhackme.com
It's used to detect and monitor invisible Trojans similar to HackerDefender.
It is the best addition to RegRun Suite!

Removed direct download links - url of programs will suffice--Ron

I don't understand why the Mods tolerate those direct downloads links.

I thought they were allowed UNLESS you are trying to push something for yourself with bad intentions or if the software company did not allow it . I may be wrong though . Not quite sure what the criteria is . Anyway . I used RegRun Gold . Alot to it . Too many options that I do not need .

A link to the download site is preferred. As in this link: http://www.greatis.com/security/download.htm.

    Hi maddawgz,

While Giant is an anti-spyware app, I would call RegRun an anti-change app. You can probably configure RegRun to alert on almost any file or registry change. But it does not give you signature-based malware protection. With RegRun, you have to make the decision to allow/deny.

I agree with Gerardwil and Ronjor. That really should be a formal rule - no direct download links. I hate them, as apparently others do as well. A download page often has other information that is important to the download and it's always better to read about an application before you click a link and get the download dialog box. Wilders really should consider formalizing a rule against direct download links.
