Would this keylogger test survive Sandboxie or even stronger : a boot-to-restore ?

    Hi All

    "Interesting Keylogger Test"

I downloaded it at executed it Comodo threw up a not particularly clear warning. I blocked it and applied it and when I typed from the keyboard. The Keys typed showed up in the keylogger program screen.

So on my reckoning the new Comodo v3 failed

I downloaded this test and ran it using Online Armor Free. I hit deny and test would not run after that. Good job Mike and to the OA team.

I have tested this KL against both the latest version of DriveSentry(Full) and Primary Response SafeConnect. Unfortunately, both of them fail.

    Peace & Gratitude,

It wouldn't run? It should atleast open and not be able to keylog.

Tested this against the latest version of OA free edition and if I allow the program to run after OA prompts then the program is able to capture keystrokes accurately. If I run the program with settings set to run safer then the program crashes and fails to start.

What I meant is I double clicked on the file and OA said "allow or deny". I denied it and after that OA wouldnt let me open it. It blocked it.

Any hips can stop the file from being launched. Press allow but do not remember. A second alert should come after or before you type. If a second does not come up then it did not pass.

I wonder if Dynamic Security Agent can prevent it? It claims to stop keyloggers. Anyone using DSA or Webroot Desktop Firewall want to check and see if it does?

Ok Coolio I did what you said. I allowed it and then ran it again and I could type. Ok so OA failed like Comodo. I still have my free subscribtion to Zone Alarm Anti Spyware. Should I try that?

OA Free stops some screenshots and maybe 2 or 3usual keyhooks, against kernel and directx you can forget it. Apart from that I noticed several problems with OA Free, some freezes and unability to start several exe files and no protocol to see events that was the reason why I uninstalled it and changed to other more comfortable products.

Sure. This is just crazy. Even the 100% firewalls with hips cannot pass this? Can anyone decompile this test and see how it bypasses even when alerts are there.
