Intel’s Reinvention of the Hard Drive Could Make All Kinds of Computers Faster

    Technology Review calling that a "hard drive" is a bit misleading as hard drives are typically considered to be traditional electromechanical devices with spinning platters and swinging R/W arms. The Intel Optane is really a SSD device as noted by PCWorld and sounds very similar to Samsung's 3D vertical NAND flash. Regardless, I think this is all good for consumers.
