I have p5q motherboard and the sata is in achi mode, so i install the matrix storage manger(ich10r).
Now the driver is ok but every time a start my computer the matrixe storage service and raid event monitor are executed automatically.
They are used for only raid?
can i disable them if i am only in achi mode?

I don't think the storage manager is required in any situation. If you didn't want to see it you should have just installed the "F6" driver and nothing else. You should be fine to disable any of the related software, just be careful of uninstalling anything, you may lose the driver as well, which may or may not cause a problem.

It is not required but recommended as it installs an enhanced IDE / SATA Controller.

I usually just install the drivers manually without the other crapware.

Just download the Floppy Disk F6 drivers, then point the device manager to update your IDE / AHCI controller manually

that way you don't have un needed services
