We have successfully installed NOD32 debian version in Ubuntu 6.10. (thanks to support team from ESET for that)

Is there any way to integrate NOD32 SMTP & POP3 scanning to Thunderbird mail client & add a footnote " This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system
    http://www.eset.com " -- for outgoing messages ?

Tried editing the nod32.cfg file and renamed the html.example files in templates folder to html, but to no avail.

Is it possible for a visible icon in Ubuntu desktop showing the status of NOD32 scanning as in Windows?

After going through the NOD32 Linux doumentation, I infer that the linux version of NOD32 provides mail scanning & filtering only at MDA & MTA levels and not at MUA level.
