    Hello TheM,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    If you want to have Acronis Startup Recovery Manager and GRUB at the same time, do the following:

    1. Set the Linux boot (/root) partition Primary and Active (you can use any disk management software to do this);

    2. Boot in Linux and install GRUB on this partition: #/sbin/grub-install /dev/boot_partition

    3. Boot in Windows and activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager.

    The above refers to LILO boot manager as well. To install LILO on a certain partition please use the following command: #/sbin/lilo /dev/boot_partition

    Thank you.

    hello mr popov,

    i don't want to use the acronis recovery manager, i prefer to boot the acronis kernel-image directly with grub

    but i solved it today

    i will not post, how i did this, because i don't know if that's ok for acronis ...

    if it's ok for acronis i'll post the solution here ...

    Hello TheM,

    You can send me a private message with your solution for this "problem".

    I will check if it is OK and let you know whether it is possible to post it here.

    Thank you.
