You can refer to this post for my previous setup:

I have only just added another hard disk drive since than.

I am trying to install Vista on a serparate 40GB IDE HDD on my 680i mobo. I have already been able to install it on a partition in my RAID0 setup and been able to access it via OSS.

    1) In the BIOS, I have set my disk array to be the first boot disk and the IDE HDD to be the 2nd.
    2) Deactivated OSS, than I hid all partitions except for the single partition on the IDE HDD, the Data partition and Swap file partition on the disk array.
    3) Boot to the Vista Ultimate DVD and come to the screenshot below. The IDE HDD is Disk 0 Partition 1.

    4) Than I format the Disk 0 Partition 1 and than try to install Vista to it. I than get this error(below).

I learned that if I set the IDE HDD to the first boot device in the BIOS, i do not receive this error when installing.

    5) After installing, I change back the boot order in the BIOS to having my disk array as being 1st.
    6) Re-activate OSS.

OSS will see the 2nd Vista install on the IDE HDD, but will not boot to it.
I have tried changing around the Disk boot order in OSS for the Vista OS, but it still does not boot.
*Note* Vista on the IDE HDD will boot if I press the Esc key and boot first to the IDE HDD instead of the RAID0 Disk Array.

Is there anything I can do to boot to the Vista install on the IDE HDD while in OSS?

From the OSS menu, when you try to boot Vista on the IDE drive, do you get an error from OSS or an error from Vista?

What is the error message (if any)?

Can you attach the BOOTWIZ.OSS file to a post? It might help to see it. Make a copy of the file and rename the copy to BOOTWIZ.TXT so you can attach it.
