Installing TrueImage2009.9769_s_de.exe failed

Hi.

I updated my ATIH to 9769.
After that my computer was 'hanging' during starting windows.
The only thing I got was the windows logo and thats all.

Starting in secure mode-> No change.
Windows recovery to 1 day back -> Computer starts again.
Deinstallation of Acronis -> Computer still starts.
Now I tryed to install version 9769 .. and I get an error message in German.

"Installation was cancelled before ATIH was installed. You need to start the installer again to try again"

I used registry cleaner to clean dead strings from pre installation.
Rebootet computer.

Nothing.
Still get the error message I mentioned above.

My system:
Windows XP - SP 3.
ATIH was the latest build before.

No clue what else to try to get this thing installed again.

Damn... its really a pain !!

Wow... Can I get a refund from Acronis ?

This is a very unprofessional thing. Why to hell is this problem still not fixed ??
I am paying money to run into such old problems

I think I better buy a new backup software.
Its faster and cheaper.

 

Oh well...

 

Acronis will be history on this computer.

This is really the biggest crap I ever had.
And this is supposed to be a security software ?
