Installing Nod 32 ver 3.0.672

    I have dowloaded & attempted to install the latest version of the ver 3.0.672. After the customary user name & password dialog box is fill in, the install procedure would shut down nod 32 thats running & begin to install. After a while the install procedure stops & announces it can't access virlog.dat because 'another application has exclusive access to this file'. Is there a work-around for this istall error?
    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Please uninstall your existing NOD32 and then install the latest version.

    If you have a reasonably old version currently installed, you might need to rename the dat file in question in safe mode first.
