Installer problems

    I renewed my NOD 32 and have a tax invoice. Had trouble updating my new details - copy and paste. Contacted ESET Australia, I was advised to download a fresh copy of ESET NOD32. This did not work. I removed all ESET/NOD from the control panel and started again. NO LUCK :'( o_O . Emailed ESET - no response (I have waited at least 2 weeks).

    When I try to install this window comes up

    Installer Information
    Could not write value name to key/software\ESET\ESETSecurity\CurrentVersion\Sheduler\1. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel

    CANCEL RETRY IGNORE

    Then the action rolls back:(

    Shame , big shame !!!



    Try to use this utility:
    http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2289

    When finished , additionally download and install this:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
    Start it from the Start menu -> Programs
    Check for ESET leftovers in the list of the program and remove them , if necessary .

    At the end , attemp 1 more reinstallation of NOD32
