I installed HFS+ a few days ago, and now Mac OSX won't boot up.
I get the gray screen with the apple, and a progress bar across the bottom. When the progress bar finishes, the screen goes black and nothing happens.
Repairing the drive from the Recovery partition also fails.

My guess is that windows has changed the permissions for some file and mac osx can't get at it.

    How can I fix this?

    Mac OSX 10.8.2
    Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit
    Macbook Pro Retina
    Paragon HFS+ for Windows 10.0

If you made a bootable USB recovery to reinstall OS X maybe an option possibly your only option.First thing I did was make a boot USB and tested it to be sure it works. You may want to call apple for support or register on mac - forum for support.Perhaps some here may have greater experience with OS X then I as I am still a newbie at OS X.
