    Hi all
    I have problems with the installer of acronis trueimage 9.1 workstation. At the end of the installation I get a system reset and windows xp going to reboot. After this I can't uninstall trueimage and if I try to save a image I get Error: e00640067. On a older machine the installer works fine. The hard- and software in my problem-machine:

    Mainboard Asus P5LD2-VM
    CPU Celeron D351
    HD Samsung Spinpoint Serial ATA 80GB on S-ATA 1 (in Bios I have made no changes)
    Discdrive 1,44 MB Nec
    DVD-Burner LG GSA-H10N
    RAM 2x512 MB (A1/B1, in yellow slots)
    Cardreader Revoltec 5.25” put on onboard USB (installed after installation of Windows to have C as driveletter for the HD)
    Graphics X300 SE (PCI-X 16)
    Windows XP Pro Servicepack 2 inkc. all updates from internet

    Has anybody a idea about this issue.

    Regards, hegi

    Hello hegi,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Workstation Disk Backup Software.

    We are sorry for the delayed response.

    Could you please do the following?

    1) Use the procedure described in this previous post to manually uninstall Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation

    2) Download the latest build (3832) of Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation. To get access to updates you should first register your software.

    3) Use the procedure described below in order to make sure that you downloaded the installation file flawlessly

    - Download the eXpress CheckSum Calculator and unpack the archive;

    - Run the application;

    - Browse for the file and click Start to calculate the checksums;

    - Compare a certain checksum (e.g. MD5) with that of the original to make sure the files are identical.

    The MD5 value for the build 3832 of English version of Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation must be [ 35074fdce9b2cacea00b6ba2f43aa2e9 ]. If the MD5 value is not [ 35074fdce9b2cacea00b6ba2f43aa2e9 ] then please re-download your Acronis product.

    4) If the MD5 value is correct install the program and check its functionality.

    If the issue persists, please create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post. Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
