Installation of Version 4.2.40.0

    I am about to remove Nod32 antivirus version 3.0.695 and install version 4.2.40.0. Have read the uninstall directions from Eset. Would it be a good idea to disconnect from the internet during the uninstall of the old version, the subsequent reboot, removal of old folders, and the install of the new version? I do have a wired router with firewall and the Xp firewall enabled. The idea of being connected to the internet during the process makes me nervous being unprotected during that period of time.

    You could do that making sure after the new installation on restart, you're plugged in so NOD can update.
